Dear Citizens of South Africa:

The current HIV/Aids epidemic, afflicting the lives of millions of South Africans, is being abused by the internationally operating pharmaceutical cartel. The drugs they offer, most notably anti-retroviral drugs (ARV’s) do not cure this epidemic and have severe side effects. These side effects cause new diseases which require even more pharmaceutical drugs. South Africa is becoming the battleground for the pharmaceutical industry to maintain its unethical investment “business with disease” in the developing world.

As the physician and scientist who, together with my colleagues, has contributed to scientific breakthroughs in the field of natural health, I realize that the time has come to stand up and state the facts:

The Scientific Facts:

• All viruses that have been investigated, including the Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) can essentially be blocked by specific micronutrients. In a landmark study published in the official Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences USA, ascorbate (vitamin C) has been shown to decrease the replication (multiplication) of the HIV by more than 99%! (PNAS 1990, 87:7245-49).
• Viral diseases are essentially unknown in the animal world, because most animals - as opposed to humans - produce high amounts of vitamin C in their body.
• All viruses spread in the body by using the same biological scissors (enzymes) able to cut their way through the connective tissue of the body. These enzymes can be partially or completely blocked by means of the natural amino acid lysine. Thus there is a scientifically proven natural and non-patentable alternative to pharmaceutical HIV drugs that are patented, largely unaffordable and associated with severe side effects. These natural approaches can be applied immediately and everywhere as an effective, safe and affordable tool in the battle against HIV/Aids.

• Towards this end the pharmaceutical cartel influences the media, promotes ARV pushing pressure groups and even uses politicians to demand that the South African government should spend ruinous amounts of money to maintain the investment business with HIV/Aids.
